Education Committee

The Education Committee for the Twin Cities ISCEBS is primarily responsible for organizing the
speakers and topic presented at each month's Education Luncheons.

The committee meets approximately once per quarter and analyzes topical benefit issues which
will appeal to the needs of the benefits community and speakers that will engage meaningful
discussion of those ideas.  It also solicits and reviews attendee feedback for ideas and
comments to enhance the luncheon experience.

In addition, the committee acts as a liaison to the Minnesota Department of Commerce to award
professional continuing education credit to attendees and interact with the Society's seminar
planners on issues requiring greater focus.
Membership Committee

The Membership Committee is often the first touch point for new members or members with
questions.  As a committee, we work to make information on the local Chapter, the CEBS, CMS,
GBA, and RPA designations, and the benefits of involvement readily available.  We strive to provide
a welcoming way into Chapter events by hosting an information table and prospective member
dining table at most events.  Our role as a committee takes front and center, literally, once a year
as we play a key role in organizing the annual new graduate recognition lunch, which is combined
with our monthly educational luncheon.  We take on tasks ranging from compiling and contacting
new graduates to ordering brochures to welcoming and congratulating new graduates at the
luncheon.  However, the remainder of the year moves at a quick clip as we have different Chapter
challenges where we reach out to previous CEBS graduates to discuss Chapter membership.
Public Relations Committee

The Public Relations Committee for the Twin Cities ISCEBS is primarily responsible for website
maintenance and promoting the ISCEBS chapter.

This committee, open to anyone interested in joining, meets approximately once every few months
to go over website maintenance, and also to help with various acknowledgements for CEBS and
Fellow graduates.  This committee also helps with promoting the annual ISCEBS Symposium
along with various seminars
Seminar Committee

The Seminar Committee sponsors a 2-day health, welfare and retirement seminar each spring.  A
wealth of knowledge is exchange between speakers from Twin Cities' consulting firms, law firms,
employers and the participants.  The topics are meant to address contemporary issues in the
benefits arena.  The seminar is designed to cover benefit topics for professionals of any
experience level.  In addition, the Seminar Committee may sponsor a topical seminar such as
USERRA or DOL Audits in the fall.
