Speaker: Mary Kesel, CEBS, President – Benefit Advocates, Inc.
Most employers have terminated early retiree medical coverage. Therefore, more employees work until at least age 65 or longer. According to a recent Gallup poll 39% of working seniors say they expect to retire after age 65. In addition, more employees are enrolled in HSA plans than ever before. These trends have led to more confusion for both employers and employees about Medicare and Social Security.
These working seniors and those preparing to retire will look to you for answers — Will you be prepared?
This informative session will address the following topics:
- What is Medicare and does it pay for and what does it cost
- Medicare Enrollment and HSA Eligibility
- Medicare Myths
- How Social Security works and when to apply
- 10 things you should know to help your employees with retirement planning
