“International Health Care Systems and Wellness Trends”

Speaker:
Allen Koski – Vice President, Global Solutions – UnitedHealthcare Global

Global employees come from many different healthcare models with many different cultural norms. Our discussion will provide an overview of those systems and how social determinants of care affect outcomes, including here in the U.S. Our U.S. discussion will include an analysis of models ranging from employer paid programs to single payer models such as the Veterans Administration and Medicare.

Please join us as Allen leads our in-depth look at:

  • Defining key characteristics of single payer models
  • Examples of single payer models around the globe
  • Global health challenges and factors impacting change
  • Comparative health models including the U.K., Canada, and India
  • American models
  • Developing a global health and well-being strategy

Our session will help you gain a deeper understanding of the different approaches and cultural differences that affect the delivery of healthcare and will provide information to help you in managing global employees and programs.
