This presentation will overview how compassionate leadership and a supportive system can foster an environment that brings out the best in yourself and your employees. First, we will review the challenges employees face and how mental health is at the epicenter of each wellbeing pillar. Next, a crash course in brain basics where we will realize our “operating system” is working with outdated hardware. Learn and practice how tune in and turn on your brain, with a mental fitness routine. Lastly, we’ll discuss “Ready, Willing, and Able” as three pieces individuals and organizations need to make positive change.

Speaker: Caitlyn Richey – Consultant, Well-Being and Engagement – NFP Caitlyn is a Consultant of Wellbeing and Engagement at NFP, a leading insurance broker and consultant agency. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication from Michigan State University and master’s degree in Health Advocacy from Sarah Lawrence. She is a licensed Accident, Life, and Health insurance producer. Caitlyn specializes in bringing wellness programs into the 21st century with a well-rounded approach to wellbeing utilizing technology, vendor resources, and helping clients set and obtain SMART goals. With her background in communication, she helps clients work on engagement tactics to help employees utilize and appreciate their wellbeing benefits. |
