Cannabis in the Minnesota Workplace
With recreational Cannabis now legal in Minnesota, what does this mean for employers? How do the other laws come into play, what are the impacts of new laws and on things like drug testing, safety sensitive positions and more? What about the laws in other states that include legalized Psilocybin? Our presenter Attorney David James of Nilan Johnson Lewis will walk us through this hazy topic. 2024 Compliance Planning
Compliance is always something that is changing and 2024 promises to add to the list of compliance benefit requirements. Join us for a discussion regarding changes in the regulatory landscape. We will examine how employers can keep up with these demanding changes while also making sure that they stay compliant with existing laws that may have been overlooked during the pandemic. Some topics we will address are gag clause attestation, price transparency tools, change to Medicaid in Minnesota, Cobra notices, maintaining HSA contributions in a sea of new benefit options, will there be a new wellness rule from the EEOC in 2024 and more.
