Program: 1:00pm – Artificial Intelligence in Total Rewards This will be an engaging, interactive session tailored for Benefits professionals, led by Ryan Malkes, of Mercer, a Gen AI expert. In this session, participants of all levels will explore the practical applications of Generative AI in Total Rewards. We will delve into the latest tools and technologies that are reshaping our industry, providing valuable insights on optimizing these resources to streamline operations, augment the efforts of your team, and elevate the overall employee experience. 2:00 – 2:15 Networking Break 2:15pm - PBM Transparency – What Employer Plan Sponsors need to Know Now PBM Transparency is an issue that has been much debated recently, with scant agreement even within the PBM industry. Employers providing pharmacy benefits to their employees often do not understand how PBMs are paid. The debate has resulted in bi-partisan legislation being considered in both the US House and Senate. Keith Weaver will lead off this session from USI’s Pharmacy Benefits Practice. He will cover the various ways in which PBMs are dealing with employers and their advisors’ quest for more transparency in how they are paid. Keith will be followed by Katherine Lacy-Wilson, USI Employee Benefits Compliance Attorney, who will cover the current status of policy issues that are being proposed and implemented at both the State and US Congressional level dealing with the PBM Transparency issue impacting their relationship, employer plan sponsors will need to address. 3:15pm - Social Hour and Vendor Showcase Join us for a networking event with drinks and appetizers.
